Swamp Potatoes (Crock Pot Comfort Food)
If cozy, savory, set-it-and-forget-it meals are your thing, then these Swamp Potatoes are about to be on repeat!
Smoky Sausage, tender potatoes, green beans, and buttery, oniony goodness slow cooked into one, irresistible dish! Perfect as a side or a hearty main dish!
Ingredients:
5-6 medium potatoes, cut into bite sized pieces
3 cans green beans, drained
1-2 packages, smoked sausage, sliced
1/2 packet (approx. 1.5 tbsp) GG's French Onion Blend (or to taste)
1 tbsp. GG's Cajun Boom (optional, but recommended ;)
1 1/2 cups water or broth
1 stick butter (do NOT use margarine)
Salt to taste! Remember, all of GG's Blends are low salt!
How to make it!
Add everything except the butter to your crock pot
Give it a good stir to coat everything evenly
Place the stick of butter right on top
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours
Stir once during cooking. If it looks a little dry, add a splash more liquid.
Serve HOT and enjoy every buttery, smoky bite! YUM!!
